About Us
Aram is a Centre for Evolutionary Leadership based in Auroville. We aspire to foster a community of fellow seekers who are deeply called to serve collective evolution. Our various activities include education, consultancy, research, and communication on issues relating to the Metacrisis, New Leadership, Indic Regeneration, and Human Unity.
Our Vision
“Our call is to young India. It is the young who must be the builders of the new world, -- not those who accept the competitive individualism, the capitalism or the materialistic communism of the West as India’s future ideal, nor those who are enslaved to old religious formulas and cannot believe in the acceptance and transformation of life by the spirit, but all who are free in mind and heart to accept a completer truth and labour for a greater ideal.” This Call by Sri Aurobindo for an awakened humanity and the rebirth of India is the vision that inspires us.
Auroville
Aram is an activity under the Auroville Foundation. It is a unique experiment in the development of human consciousness and has residents from more than 50 countries aspiring to live together in the spirit of human unity. If Auroville can stay true to its founding vision and principles, there cannot be a better home for Aram.
Steward
Naveen is a student of Yoga. Over the last 20 years he has been engaged with the questions: “What does it mean to live meaningfully in today’s times?” and “How may I offer the best of myself to the Whole?”. This unfolding journey has been richly rewarding and fulfilling. He is a co-founder of Ritambhara and the steward of Aram. His interests include Evolutionary Leadership, Integral Psychology, and Process Work. He is particularly keen on working with young changemakers and those interested in bridging spirituality and social change.
